Stimulus Check and Shared-Branching

The IRS will deposit your check into the direct deposit account you previously provided on your tax return or send you a paper check. The IRS will not call and ask you to verify your payment details. Do not give out your bank account, debit account, or PayPal account information- even if someone claims it’s necessary to get your stimulus check. It’s a scam.

If you choose to bring a paper check to Mississippi Federal you can deposit or withdraw the full amount. If you choose to take your paper stimulus check to a shared-branching location you will be able to deposit the full amount. However, you may not be able to withdraw the full amount at a shared-branch location during this national emergency. As always we are here to help answer your questions and address any concerns that you may have during this time.
